Meet Leendert van Accoleyen. Upon Kate's invitation, Leendert is staying as Artist in Residence at Nieuw en Meer. On March 29th at 5:00 PM, Leendert's work will be on display.

Nieuw en Meer’s Artist in Residence in januari en februari 2024, Hanna Burgers.
Hanna is a research- based artist whose work revolves around existential themes of birth and dead. In our current polarizing society, Hanna feels dedicated to telling humane stories, particularly around topics often deemed taboo. Her practice places trust, understanding, and dignity at the forefront.
During this residency, Hanna will develop her current project Birth Currents, which focuses on the incredible power of women during birth-giving. She will work with the medium of photography, interviews, and sound.
